China accounts for over 1.35 billion people. Their city orphanages house more than 20,000 orphaned and abandoned babies, with thousands more in foster homes in the countryside. The Prince of Peace Children’s Home was set up to serve this need, housing special needs children. Currently, there are about 150 children waiting to be adopted. However, once the children turn 14 years old, they will age out of our Children’s Home and can no longer be adopted. You can be a part of their lives too! One decision to adopt them into your family will change their lives forever!

Adopting children with special needs can be a huge step for you or for families. We understand if you are unsure whether this is right for you. Join us on an exploratory trip. We organise trips to our Children’s Home in China, where you can interact with our children. This trip aims to help you understand the issues orphans are facing. Read more here.
If you have a desire to help the waiting children with special needs, please contact Maisie at info@popsfoundation.org or (925) 292-2331. We could join hands in helping the adoptive parents to get started, keep going, and locate whatever additional information and support their need.
